Geen Angst ~ No Fear

Het oude mag sterven, zodat het nieuwe kan leven en uitbreiden.

Wanneer een aardappel wordt geplant, rot de oude aardappel en vergaat,

zodat meer en meer aardappelen kunnen ontstaan.

Wanneer een graankorrel is geplant in de grond verdwijnt het oorspronkelijke zaad,

zodat het nieuwe meer in overvloed voort kan springen: zo ook met de mens.

Het oude moet worden ingeleverd en sterven,

zodat het nieuwe kan spruiten in al zijn glorie.

Verzet daarom nooit tegen verandering.

Accepteer het als een uiterst belangrijk proces van het leven.

Wees nooit tevreden met niets te doen en te vegeteren,

tevreden met de oude manieren, oude vormen.

Er staat zoveel in het leven voor je klaar als je leert te ontdoen van alle oude

en vooruit stapt naar het glorieuze nieuwe.

Nooit bang zijn voor het onbekende, het onzichtbare.

Gewoon weten dat, als je vooruit in het leven gaat, het fantastisch zal zijn.

Verwacht het beste resultaat ervan te ontstaan en het zal zo zijn.

Zo velen van jullie zijn ronduit bang voor wat morgen kan brengen,

in plaats van te genieten van alles wat dit ogenblik voor je in petto heeft.

Open je Hart;

stop met zorgen maken over de toekomst;

vandaag is wat telt,

wat je nu doet,

in dit moment.

The old must die so the new may live and increase and multiply.

When a potato is planted the old potato rots and it withers away

so more and more potatoes can be brought forth.

When a grain of corn is planted in the ground the original seed disappears

so the new can spring forth in greater profusion: so with man.

The old must be surrendered and die

so the new may spring forth in all its glory.

Therefore never resist change.

Accept it as a vitally important process of life.

Never be satisfied to sit around and vegetate,

content with old ways, old forms.

There is so much in life waiting for you when you learn to let go of all the old

and move forward into the glorious new.

Never be afraid of the unknown, the unseen.

Simply know that as you move forward into it,

it is going to be wonderful.

Expect the very best to come out of it and it will.

So many of you have sat around dreading what tomorrow may bring

instead of enjoying to the full what this moment has in store for you.

Innerlijk Weten ~ Inner Knowing

Je Zult de Waarheid Kennen

Wanneer iets wordt geopenbaard

Diep van binnen,

heb je geen bevestiging of bewijs nodig

dat het de Waarheid is.

Je kunt eraan vasthouden

zelfs als dat betekent dat je helemaal alleen staat.

Het is dit Innerlijk Weten dat telt;

Het is die innerlijke openbaring

waaraan je kunt vasthouden.

De dingen van de Geest

dienen begrepen te worden

door de Geest;

ze kunnen niet worden ontleed en geanalyseerd

door de geest van een mens.

Dit is waarin je absoluut standvastig

en onwrikbaar mag zijn

en zonder twijfel weten

dat wat is geopenbaard aan je van binnen

is de Waarheid

en geen fantasie.

Niemand kan je helpen in dit;

het is een Innerlijk Weten,

een absolute, onwrikbare zekerheid.

Als je merkt

dat zelfs de geringste twijfel binnenkruipt

over de authenticiteit

van wat er is geopenbaard

of aan je gegeven,

wees dan op je hoede.

Nogmaals,

je hebt geen bevestiging van de buitenwereld nodig,

je zult de Waarheid Kennen,

en in het Weten

zal je Innerlijke Rust vinden.

You Shall Know The Truth

When something is revealed

deep inside

you need no confirmation or proof

it’s the Truth.

You can hold on to it

even if that means that you are completely alone.

It is this Inner Knowing that counts;

it is that inner revelation

which you can hold on to.

The things of the Spirit

are to be understood

by the Spirit;

they can not be decomposed and analysed

by the mind of man.

This is where you must be absolutely

be steadfast and unwavering

and know without a doubt

what is revealed to you from within

is The Truth and no imagination.

No one can help you in this;

it is an Inner Knowing,

an absolute, unshakable certainty.

If you find

that even the slightest doubt creeps in

about the authenticity of

what is revealed or given to you,

then beware.

Again,

you do not need confirmation from the outside world,

you will Know the Truth,

and in this knowing

you will find Inner Peace.

Located in South Carolina, on Johns Island, the 1,500 year-old Angel Oak, shades with its widely spreading canopy an area of 17,200 square feet.

This magnificent tree is thought to be one of the oldest living organisms east of the Mississippi River. With a circumference of 28 feet and branches over 100 feet long, Angel Oak has survived numerous natural disasters, including earthquakes (the Great Charleston Earthquake of 1886), floods and hurricanes (Hurricane Hugo in 1989).
